What Are Cookies?

- Your basket: the items and order choices in your basket are kept in your browser's local storage until your order is placed
- Remembered details: only if you tick "Remember my details" at checkout, your name, contact details and address are kept in your browser's local storage on that device, so you don't have to type them next time. They are never sent anywhere until you place an order. Untick the box at checkout to remove them.
Analytics Cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site. These cookies are only set after you accept our cookie banner:
- _ga, _ga_*: Google Analytics tracking (2-year expiry)
Map Cookies
The map on our contact page comes from Google Maps, which sets its own cookies. It only loads after you accept our cookie banner, or if you press "Show map" on that page.
Payment & Security Cookies
When you reach the payment step, our payment provider Stripe sets cookies that are necessary to take your payment securely and to help prevent fraud. These are only set during checkout:
- __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid: set by Stripe for secure card processing and fraud prevention

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect the shopping cart functionality. To withdraw analytics consent, clear your browser cookies and decline when the banner reappears.
