About our mackerel
Glossy fresh mackerel, local when we can get it and from Cornwall or Shetland when we can't. It is an oily fish full of flavour and omega-3, and one of the best value fish on the counter. Buy a single fish or a few for the barbecue. We will gut it with the head on or off, or fillet it for you. Grill it whole with lemon and herbs, or pan fry the fillets skin side down and serve them with a sharp beetroot or gooseberry relish.
