About our plaice
Sweet, delicate plaice from the English Channel and the Dorset coast, filleted on our counter and skinned if you like. Plaice is a classic British flat fish, at its best from May to December. It cooks in minutes: dust the fillets in seasoned flour and fry them in butter, or grill them with lemon and a few capers. Breaded plaice with chips and peas is a family favourite.
